Who we are

Prices and availability

All prices are in South African rand and include VAT where applicable. We do our best to keep stock accurate, but items occasionally sell out between your adding them to the cart and paying. If that happens we will contact you to arrange a replacement or a refund. Prices shown at checkout are calculated on our server at the moment you pay, and are the ones that apply.

Payment

Payment is processed by PayFast. You complete payment on PayFast's secure page and they email your payment confirmation. We never see your card details. Your order is confirmed once PayFast notifies us that payment cleared.

Delivery

We deliver across South Africa. Delivery costs R 60, and is free on orders over R 400. Orders are hand-packed in Lenasia and usually dispatched within two working days; courier timelines then apply. Please give us a delivery address where someone can receive the parcel.

Returns and refunds

Under the Consumer Protection Act you may return an unused item in its original packaging within 7 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, and you may return a defective item within 6 months. Please contact us first so we can arrange it. For hygiene reasons, consumables that have been opened (such as camphor, oils and botanicals) cannot be returned unless they are defective.

Personalised items — including hampers you have composed and gift-card messages — can only be returned if they are defective.

Cultural and religious items

We describe every item as accurately as we can, and we present each tradition on its own terms. Photographs are representative; hand-made items vary slightly in finish, colour and size, and that variation is not a defect.

We handle your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
